I obtained a degree in English and History BA Hons then completed a PGCE in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. Prior to working at St. Marys, I have worked with unaccompanied asylum seekers at Liverpool Community College, providing pastoral care and supporting learning English as an additional language. I have also worked with Children in secure accommodation, children in care and care leavers in schools and the community.
I have four wonderful children aging from nine to two years of age. Three of my children came to St. Mary’s with my youngest starting here this year. I play an active role on the preschool committee undertaking roles as secretary and chairperson over the years. As a member of staff, committee member and current parent I believe I can bring all my skills, knowledge and understanding of all these varied roles to further enhance preschool life for the children and staff.
In my spare time I like to go walking, swimming and bike riding.
